  1. Emails VR Supervisor with approval/disapproval.

VR Supervisor

  1. Refers to SOS Temporary Acquisition Procedures
  2. Emails for approval the completed Request Temporary Access  form for access to computer, QE2, email, etc. to:
    • Director of Nebraska VR, lindy.foley@nebraska.gov

VR Director

  1. Emails approval/disapproval to:

• Supervisor
• “cc” to VR Data Center, vr.helpdesk@nebraska.gov

   6. Emails Executive Assistant, cinda.wacker@nebraska.gov, and vr.helpdesk@nebraska.gov with cell phone number.
Or
6. Emails Executive Assistant, cinda.wacker@nebraska.gov, and vr.helpdesk@nebraska.gov if there is no cell phone number. A decision on what cell phone and cell phone number to use will be decided.

VR Data Center Lacey Bonneau, Chad Miles, Tibor Moldovan)

       7.  Enters the following in QE2 hierarchy:

• name
• office
• start date
• end date
• email address
• login name

 The week before the SOS person starts:

8. Creates account for SOS employee
9. Adds SOS employe to appropriate emails groups
10. Adds end date to QE2 and Active Directory record
11. Creates a new employee record in WASP inventory
12. Uses SOS person's last name as ABN in WASP inventory
13. Updates WASP inventory equipment being assigned to SOS employee
14. Sends email to supervisor listing what accounts have been set up
15. Configures laptop
16. Schedules with supervisor a time for the SOS employee to set up laptop
17. Emails the supervisors the schedule if there are staff in numerous locations starting on the same day

On the first day of employment:

18. Meets with SOS employee, delivers laptop and other equipment, as necessary
19. Assists SOS employee with logging into accounts on laptop and iPhone
20. Assists SOS employe with getting acquainted with laptop

Supervisor

    21. On the first day of employment:

    a. Has SOS temporary staff member complete Confidentiality Agreement form from VRIS.
    b. Scans and emails Confidentiality Agreement form to staff designated on the form.
    c. Shows SOS temporary staff member their designated work station.
    d. Shows SOS temporary staff member where to store their personal belongings.
    e. Explains expectations of the VR work.
    f. Explains purpose of VR.
    g. Introduces SOS temporary staff member to VR staff.
    h. Gives tour of VR.
    i. Reviews Welcome Letter on desk top.

    22. Contacts NDEHR for stop date extension which must be received by SOS Program before stop date. If the stop date extension is not received by SOS Program before the original stop date, SOS temporary staff member is terminated on the original stop date.

    23. Emails the following for extension to the stop date:

24. Emails approval/disapproval of stop date extension to:

• Supervisor
• “cc” to VR Data Center, vr.helpdesk@nebraska.gov

VR Data Center

A few days before the end of the SOS contract:
25. Checks with supervisor to verify SOS employee will be finished on SOS contract end date or if SOS contract has been extended


If extended:
26. Updates end date in QE2 and active directory
