• If there are no concerns about the employee's performance, go to step #6.

1. Reviews if employee has met expectations in all areas required for reclassification.

2. Considers employee's excessive absences and may delay promotion by the equivalent amount of time.

3. Considers any time spent under a Performance Improvement Plan and will delay reclassification by the equivalent amount of time.

4. Reviews the employee’s performance.

5. Contacts VR Director, lindy.foley@nebraska.gov, if the employee has not met expectations in all areas required for reclassification.

7. Determines if employee has met expectations in all areas required for reclassification.

8. Considers employee's excessive absences which may delay promotion by the equivalent amount of time.

9. Considers any time spent under a Performance Improvement Plan which will delay reclassification by the equivalent amount of time.

10. Reviews the employee’s performance.

11. Contacts VR Director, lindy.foley@nebraska.gov, if the employee has not met expectations in all areas required for reclassification.

12. Contacts Amy Spellman for a copy of the Instructions For Establishing A Performance Improvement Plan and the Performance Improvement Plan Form. Follow the instructions.
