SUMMARY OF UPDATES

This is an original chapter that was developed to provide staff guidance in regards to professional interactions with clients, vendors and employers. This policy is intended to apply to all VR Staff (Associates, VR Service Specialists, VR Rehabilitation Specialists, BAMS, OD, PD, Marketing, etc) who work with clients and/or venders. It has been developed with the assistance of the State Rehabilitation Council, Consumer Input Committee and DIG.

 

VRIS POSTING

The Code of Conduct will be located in two places, as it is part of the required new staff orientation and training, as well as general administration policy.   

1. VRIS: Program Manual: Administrative Chapters: General Administration.
2. VRIS: Training: New Staff Mandatory Training.  

 

FORMS REVISED

New form – Code of Conduct Employee Signature Form is required to confirm staff’s understanding of the chapter. The signed form is to be maintained in personnel file.

TEAM COMMUNICATION

Supervisors review this chapter with your staff . Have each staff sign the signature page confirming their understanding of the chapter and place in their personnel file.
Complete this process with each new employee.
