SUMMARY OF UPDATES:
The Program Chapter: Supported Employment and ID Customized Employment: Behavioral Health, ABI, Autism, ID/DD has been updated to reflect the DD collaboration and the forms associated with it. All Supported Employment programs have four milestone payments now and all standards around communication, client contact and provider contact have the same requirements. DD Service Coordinators must be sent a copy of the IPE, all Milestone Reporting forms and the 30 Day reporting forms. The changes reflect:
New Milestone Payment schedule for I/DD Supported Employment (no longer follow the milestone payment schedule in Rule 72)
The addition of Customized Employment, Discovery services
New Milestone Payment schedule for Customized Employment – I/DD
Additional changes to assist in tracking clients referred to VR:
Services and Sources form updated to include:
Developmental Disabilities – Service Coordination and
Developmental Disabilities – Sheltered Workshop
These two replaced Intellectual and Development Disabilities Agencies. The on-line form will be revised. Printed copies: please note on the paper form if the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities agency is Service Coordination or Sheltered Workshop. It is very important to note this and enter into QE2 on the Services and Benefits screen as we have to provide information to HHSS-DD on the number of clients who apply that are receiving services through Service Coordination or Sheltered Workshops.

New Selecting a Service in QE2 (provides definitions of the new services added to QE2) (Revised)
Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) has been updated to include Customized Employment. Sandy Ham is working with the offices to update their booklets. If you have booklets that have not been updated or have not received the updated booklets please contact Sandy Ham.
Services and Sources form that is part of the Application has been revised on-line. Intellectual and Development Disabilities Agencies was removed and replaced with: Developmental Disabilities – Service Coordination and Developmental Disabilities – Sheltered Workshop. Continue to use existing paper copies and note Service Coordination or Sheltered Workshop by the Intellectual and Development Disabilities Agencies box.

TO DO:
All new referrals received after May 15, 2017 will be authorized under the new Milestone Payment Schedule.
I/DD Supported Employment Liaisons/Specialists please work with your Associates to determine where your current I/DD clients are in completing the previous Milestone payment schedule.
If the start date of the milestone is May 15 or after create a new authorization for the remaining milestones at the new rates.
If you have already received Referrals from DD Service Coordinators or Sheltered Workshops and entered them into QE2 you will have to go to the Services and Benefits screen and mark whether they are receiving Services from DD Service Coordination or DD Workshop.
MONITORING REQUIREMENTS:
I/DD Supported Employment Liaisons/Specialists must ensure that items under the To Do’s have been completed.
