Summary of Changes
An online portal will now be used to complete DHHS Child/Adult Registry Checks by clients, with assistance from VR staff.
When a client can not successfully verify their identity online, they will need be redirected to complete a notarized form and it should be mailed to NDE Legal Counsel.
The ONLY circumstance when the online portal can NOT be used is when the client does not have an email address or the client has a guardian. In either circumstance, the 2-page DHHS forms will be used.
