Summary of Changes
The changes are due to clarification we have received in regard to reporting wages both to SSA and to any federally funded programs through DHHS, Housing Authority so that student/family benefits will not be affected. There will be a “Income Under WIOA” letter uploaded also to help staff communicate with other agencies. The changes are bolded and in italics. I repeated the information for SSA just to be sure that is noted by staff. There will also be an update to the FAQ with the same information and a link to SSA factsheet about Student Earned Income Exclusion.
