Summary of Changes
The CPAP chapter has been revised to reflect changes in eligibility for CPAP. Only cases closed successfully in one of the five CPAP designated career pathways/clusters or individuals wanting to complete a VR Certificate program will be eligible for CPAP for the remainder of the grant. This decision was made due to the need to decrease CPAP expenditures. Referrals will continue to be taken for VR Certficate programs, however currently a moratorium will be placed on all individuals who have cases closed successfully until further notice.
An additional process change includes when VR Staff makes referrals to CPAP the eligibility and priority group should be written in QE2, but not approved. Once the case has been transferred to CPAP the eligibility and priority group will be approved. This process has been revised so clients receive the CPAP eligibility/priority group letter which identifies they will be placed on the waiting list, however can be served by CPAP.

Continue to make referrals to CPAP for clients interested in the VR Certificate Programs, however currently no other referrals will be made to CPAP from VR teams.
