Summary of Changes
Changed: the term Employment Discussion to Initial Meeting. Removed OJE and VE as allowable assessment services.
Added: Job Retention Exception - added federal language to include the individual needs to be able to develop an IPE and receive services immediately and the client is not required to disclose the disability to the employer. TASK note needs to include: justification for the provision of Job Retention services that are required in order for the client to maintain their current job, exploration of comparable benefits, reasonable accommodation by the employer and the clients ability to fund in whole or part the needed services in the TASK note. Added the need to provide a copy of the medical information used for eligibility and client's job decription to be included with the employer letter when requesting job retention approval.
Clarified: Assessment services for eligibility: removed Benefits Orientation and changed to request BPQY to obtain diagnosis for eligibility.
Forms - New or Revised
NEW Letter: Upgrading Priority Group status added to the chapter. This is sent out by the local office if a case needs to be upgraded in priority.
