Reworded Social Security work incentive as a PASS cannot be considered a comparable benefit, but Pass resources can complement a VR service.
Now require the client to apply for a loan through the Easterseals program, rather than leaving this up to the discretion of the counselor.
VR Specialist is responsible to understand the rational of the decision to fully explain it to the individual. If there are questions, the specialist needs ask for clarification to provide a unified and accurate report to the individual of the program's decision.
To consider assistive technology cost exceptions, a loan application is now required, rather than leaving it up to the discretion of the counselor.
Worksite items need to be addressed with the employer as a reasonable accommodation.
Medical items need to address insurance and community resources.
