Summary of Changes

Due to a Federal level change in the W-4 form, Nebraska no longer parallels the rules of the Federal W-4 form. Because of this, there are now 2 W-4 forms that need to be completed. The current W-4 form previously completed is the Federal form, and will need to continue to be filled out and submitted with paperwork as before. The new form, W-4N, is the state of Nebraska form, and will also now need to be completed and submitted with the paperwork.

The new form is only required for clients starting employment in 2020, or clients already set up on bi-weekly that make witholding changes during 2020.
