Summary of Changes
This temporary policy addresses payment of milestone 5A/5B for clients who have been furloughed or laid off due to business circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Details of the employer's plan for a client to return to work will be obtained and the supported employment provider will include these details in the comments section of the Milestone 5A/5B form. VR Specialists should remind providers to include this documentation on the form as a requirement for payment of the milestone. Providers will also be informed of the requirement for this documentation via a Constant Contact communication to the provider listserve.
