Summary of Changes
CWA chapter will be replaced with TWE- Trial Work Experience.
TWE is only used for determining eligibility or priority group assignment. Any community evaluation necessary after eligibility has been determined will be an OJE (paid or unpaid).
Name change aligns with federal regulation language. Be cautious not confuse with trial work periods for Social Security recipients.
Clear purpose and intent has been defined.
Length and Duration of TWE- timeline has been removed and replaced with sufficient variety and over a sufficient period of time. This allows for an individualized experience and is language taken from federal regs.

QE2 Update
CWA- Community Work Assessment will be replaced with TWE- Trial Work Experience in Assessment Services.
Vocational Evaluation Report section title is changing from CWA, OJE, or WBLE Observation to TWE, OJE, or WBLE Observation.
To Do
Proceed with scheduling TWEs if required for eligiblity/priority group assignment so long as individual is aware of risks associated with COVID-19 and makes an informed choice to move forward.

Monitoring Requirements
At minimum, VR Specialist will have contact the first day of a TWE and weekly thereafter to review progress with applicant, job coach, and employer; however, more frequent contact is encouraged. On-the-Job Report will be completed bi-weekly.
