Summary of Changes

Entire Chapter has been rewritten to better clarify Placement Services.  Placement Services has been broken down into two different services:  Job Search Assistance and Employment Follow Up.  Definitions have been provided regarding the different services and responsibilities of Placement Services:

Changes in the chapter included:

• Clarifying when a Placement Services Referral or Employment Follow Up should be ended
• Adding Team Services Documentation
• Follow Up is now required on all VR cases (SE and non-SE)
• Follow Up is provided monthly until the case is closed
• Expand upon Employer Advocacy
• Clarify regarding WIN meetings and worksite experiences
• Expand upon questions to ask at 90 day JSA review

Changes to Services:

• Employment Follow Up is a new service (or replacing Job Retention if that was being utilized for follow up)
• Job Placement is now Job Search
• Job Retention has been removed

QE2 Update

Employment Follow Up automatically begins at the start job date of the VR supported job or the IPE date if the client comes to VR with a job
