UPDATED:
OOS definition, to state when resources rather than funding is not sufficient, an agency must implement an Order of Selection.
Priority 2 for SS/SSDI based on a disability is based on the individual being verified eligible, rather than recieving SSDI or SSI.
Removed the word "automatically" qualify for Priority Group 2 to be " Has a severe physical or mental impairment that results in a very low rating in one functional area or verified eligible for SSDI or SSI based on the individual's disability. SSDI or SSI recipients qualify for priority group two and are assessed to determine whether they qualify for priority group one."
ADDED:
An individual needs to meet all the criteria of eligibility prior to determining the Priority Group assignment.
Eligibility Requirements:
Permanent Impairment (diagnosis)
Substantial Impediment to employment (significantly restricted in the condition, manner, or duration the individual can work)
Benefit from VR Services (able to obtain a competitive, integrated employment outcome from the provision of VR services)
Require VR Services (to prepare for, secure, retain, or regain employment)
REMOVED:
Reference to client contribution and assessing if the individual qualifies for Post-Employment.
