Summary of Changes
Added when a work-based learning experience can be set up for a home-schooled student. Based on questions for clarification from the field.
Removed the sentence that a paid work-based learning experience is paid by the employer.
Information was added in the process section of the Paid Work-Based Learning and Unpaid Work-Based Learning sections of the chapter. It was added so that it is consistent with the OJE-On the Job Evaluation Chapter.
Additional language was added in process to clarify that a work-based learning experience that is set up through a summer contract may be set up on an employers payroll and costs reimbursed to the contractor. Once the reimbursement is made, the costof the work-based learning experience will be charged back to the case.
