Summary of Changes
Lawfully authorized to work: VR will only serve applicants for services who are authorized to work. This is for all individuals, citizens, and non-citizens alike. This verification is consistent with the I-9 and will be required prior to IPE approval or Trial Work Experience (TWE), On-the-Job Evaluation (OJE), or Work Base Learning Experience (WBLE), but can be gathered any time prior and confirmed in QE2. Non-citizens will also be verified through USCIS Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program. VR can assist financially with obtaining work documents, if needed after VR eligibility has been completed (QE2: Career Planning-Other Assistance) or when utilizing a TWE for eligibility (QE2: Eligibility-TWE).
