Summary of Changes

Chapter shortened and reorganized- eliminated a few stand-alone sections

Supervision clarification- VR staff responsible to arrange, not provide supervision

Added Appropriate Supports to be consistent with TWE chapter; VR staff responsible for arranging necessary supports

Provide OJE timesheets to the work site supervisor prior to start of the assessment. Instruct the supervisor on timesheet submission dates so that attendance may be tracked for the non-paid OJE 

Added guidance when OJE is not going well (team meeting, discuss intent/goals of OJE)

 

Forms - New or Revised

OJE forms have been simplified and combined with TWE rather than OJT. All OJE letters inactivated. 

There are 3 new forms:

OJE/TWE Checklist (replaces OJE/OJT Information and OJE/OJT Letter Checklist). Provide copies to individuals listed at bottom of form.

OJE/TWE Consent (replaces Consent for a Paid OJE or OJT Placement and Consent for Non-Paid OJE/OJT).

OJE/TWE Timesheet (replaces OJE/OJT State Timesheet)

 

QE2 Update

Assesment Service and Support options will look a bit different with programming adjustments in QE2.

QE2 will auto-populate the provider as NDE-Rehab Client Training.
